Bellevue Collection's Fall Openings: Article, Rhone, Wagyu House and a Bigger Lululemon
BELLEVUE, WA — Four new or bigger storefronts are lining up at The Bellevue Collection between mid-October and early December, and each one needs a floor team. A Canadian furniture brand is opening one of its first two U.S. stores in Lincoln Square, a performance apparel label is moving into Bellevue Square, an all-you-can-eat Wagyu barbecue house is taking over a famous restaurant space, and Lululemon is moving into a larger store. For Eastside retail and restaurant work this holiday season, this is the block of Bellevue Way to watch.
No headcounts have been announced for any of these openings. Get your resume ready now and watch each brand's careers page, because opening crews usually hire weeks before the doors open.

Article Brings Its Showroom to Lincoln Square
Article is a Vancouver, B.C. furniture company that sold only online for about a decade before opening its first physical store in Vancouver in August 2024. In May it announced its first two U.S. stores, one in San Francisco's Design District and one here. The Bellevue showroom takes more than 7,500 square feet and will offer free interior design help alongside its sofas, dining and bedroom pieces.
Downtown Bellevue Network reported on Sept. 29 that the store is set for mid-October. That design service matters for job seekers: a showroom like this wants people who can talk scale, fabric and floor plans, not just run a register.
Rhone, Wagyu House and a Bigger Lululemon
Rhone, the performance apparel brand, is due in early November on Level 1 of Bellevue Square.
Wagyu House is the bigger hiring story of the group. The Chubby Group concept, already running in Atlanta, Chicago and Houston, does all-you-can-eat yakiniku with grills built into every table and a menu of American, Australian and Japanese A5 Wagyu. It is moving into the old Din Tai Fung space at 700 Bellevue Way NE, Suite 280, with a late-November target. A tabletop-grill dining room runs on servers, hosts, bussers, food runners and a full kitchen line.
Lululemon is not new to Bellevue Square, but it is moving into the former Banana Republic space on Level 2 in early December. A larger floor right before the holidays usually means more educators on the schedule.
💵 What the Pay Floor Looks Like in Bellevue
Bellevue has no city minimum wage, so stores here follow Washington's statewide floor of $17.13 an hour. On Sept. 30, the state Department of Labor and Industries announced it rises to $17.73 on January 1, 2027. Cross Lake Washington into Seattle and the city floor is several dollars higher, which is why the address of the store, not where you live, decides your legal minimum.
The floor is a minimum, not the going rate. Washington law requires most employers with 15 or more workers to post a wage range on every job listing, so compare those ranges before you apply.
